Yes, the Golden Sails is an older hotel, built in the mid 1960's. I have been staying here for years. It's like your favorite old coat; a little frayed on the edges but very comfortable. For travelers who get the per-diem package, I don't think you can get much better. It includes breakfast, bagged lunch, and dinner. Breakfast is a full buffet type and dinner is normally anything from filet mignon for swordfish to surf and turf to fried chicken. The staff is, bar none, the most cordial and professional I've experienced. There may be weddings on weekends and I recommend you get a room in the rear portion of the hotel if you relish quiet.
