TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I had the worst experience with Mt Airy Eye Care. The office manager was RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. The following mistakes were made by the staff:
The lab manager promised me a pair of demo glasses and failed to make them - Twice!
No phone call/communication to inform me either time.
The office manager was yelling and speaking over me when I tried to explain my issue. An unpleasant woman to say the least. Total lack of listening skills. I do not yell and hope that professionals would treat me with the same respect. Not at Mt Airy Eye Care.
I requested to speak with Dr Magaziner but he never called me to fix the problem. They show total disregard for the health of their patients; no communication at all.
I asked for a medical release - Three times - and finally got one in the mail.
I needed the Optomap info sent to my new eye doctor and was told by AMANDA that it would be sent in 10min. It was never sent and I never received a call to inform me.
The doctor spent all of 15 min w/me and took about 2 min to exam my eyes. When I asked a question about the role of nutrition in regard to eye care, Dr Magaziner laughed out loud and disregarded my concerns.
I am a local business owner too. I would be out of business if I treated my clients in the dismissive, disrespectful manner which they treated me.

Word of mouth is the best advertisement.
