I worked a 17.5 hour day for passionate dishes. I agreed to be compensated for helping with set up as well as shucking oysters. The event was a Nightmare!!! I arrived and was then told that my vehicle was needed to transport everything to the location. My car was the only vehicle used. I have no idea what they would have done if I didn’t show up in an SUV. As soon as we arrived at the lactation the staff began drinking (10am) and CHAIN smoking. It was disgusting. Cigarettes were hanging out of staff’s mouth as they drank beer and prepared food. I as well as another staff member cooked majority of the food and worked nonstop for 17.5 hours straight well the owner (Terri) just drank and smoked. I am now dealing with not getting compensated. I have sent emails and called and received no response. After looking into this company at a better perspective it seems like this is a common issue. \r
I would not recommend this carting company to anyone. Not for hire or to work for. As a client you’ll get unsanitary poorly cooked food and as an employee you won’t get paid\r
