Terrible Service and Staff 6/13/2011

I had family in town from out of state and three small children in our group of 12. First the staff was impatient and snippy as we all discussed how many games etc we wanted to play. They lacked basic customer service skills like smiling and greeting us as we arrived, but also didn't try to answer any questions we had. After we made our decisions and paid we got situated at our lanes. One of the people in our party approached the front counter to get the metal aid that helps small children push the bowling ball down the lane. They said it was there policy to only allow handicapped persons use it and that small children were not allowed to. We ave always been able to use them at other bowling facilities so we asked for a manager. The manager was even ruder than the first person. I explained that it should be made aware to patrons before the purchase and that in this case it was not. She proceeded to say well that is our policy so I can refund your money and you can go some where else. If we did not have three children, ready to play, we would have taken our refund and gone to boardwalk bowl down the street. When showing my disappointment in her service she said that she "" didn't need the attitude."" I WILL NEVER go back!! I also planned on doing my child's birthday party there this summer but due to the terrible experience I will NOT spend another cent in there facility. They can also count on me spreading the word to my family and friends. I will now be giving my business to a different facility. And so will the people that I went with. more
