Firkin & Kegler Family Entertainment Center

I had the worst experience ever at this establishment. The staff was rude and unprofessional, and upon reading other reviews I had the exact same experience. Complete unacceptable and will not be tolerated. We were told to go visit another establishment Boardwalk down the street if we didn't like our service. And called back today to speak with the manager and was told that WE had the attitudes and they had every right to speak to us in any tone they like. Completely unacceptable and AGAIN unprofessional. Please share with friends and family and NEVER give any more money into this establishment EVER!!!! They need to be out of business. more

FK today, with about 20 my friends. We got there and bowled for about 2 hours, after we were done it was around 7:30 PM so we decided to play some arcade games. At around 7:45 PM a very nasty women (name was Patty) comes walking around a YELLING at us for being there with out a person above the age of 18. Little did we know of this information (no signs are posted, when we called no one informed us of this). So we all walked to the front where there was a sitting area/place to sit and wait for our parents. Patty comes and screams at one of the females in our group for leaning on a podium and kicked her out and made her stay outside. Half of the group went outside with her and the other half stayed inside - well a friend of mine had found a white picnic chair just laying around and sat in it, a young man (not dressed in any FK uniform) came up to him and said ""Where did you get this chair?"" my friend said ""It was just laying over there, there might be some left, but be careful a nasty bitchy women might yell at you"" the employee says ""That's my boss, she is the owner (Patty) and yanks the chair from out underneath him"" So we all walked outside and I walked back in to get the rest of our group as a man puts his hands on me and says ""We don't call our employe's bitchy, your not allowed in"" and kicked our group out. This place is awful from the food which taste like vomit, but cost the same of a 5 star restaurant, to the careless employees, terrible waitresses, and even down to the owners who you would think would have some respect for there customers. We spent $900 for our group to come, and were planning to do this every Saturday, but never again will any of us spend a dollar there. Would NEVER RECOMMEND! more

I had family in town from out of state and three small children in our group of 12. First the staff was impatient and snippy as we all discussed how many games etc we wanted to play. They lacked basic customer service skills like smiling and greeting us as we arrived, but also didn't try to answer any questions we had. After we made our decisions and paid we got situated at our lanes. One of the people in our party approached the front counter to get the metal aid that helps small children push the bowling ball down the lane. They said it was there policy to only allow handicapped persons use it and that small children were not allowed to. We ave always been able to use them at other bowling facilities so we asked for a manager. The manager was even ruder than the first person. I explained that it should be made aware to patrons before the purchase and that in this case it was not. She proceeded to say well that is our policy so I can refund your money and you can go some where else. If we did not have three children, ready to play, we would have taken our refund and gone to boardwalk bowl down the street. When showing my disappointment in her service she said that she "" didn't need the attitude."" I WILL NEVER go back!! I also planned on doing my child's birthday party there this summer but due to the terrible experience I will NOT spend another cent in there facility. They can also count on me spreading the word to my family and friends. I will now be giving my business to a different facility. And so will the people that I went with. more

What a mistake. Think a long hard time before you have a birthday party at Firkin & Kegler. It's expensive and very disorganized. YOU ARE MISSING HALF OF YOUR FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT LIFE IF YOU HAVEN'T VISITED THIS GREAT PLACE YET.BOTH MY DAUGHTER AND I WERE SO AMAZED HOW WONDERFUL THEIR BOWLING ALLEY WERE.SUPER GREAT.WE DEFINITELY WOULD GO BACK AND CELEBRATE MY DAUGHTER'S INCOMING BIRTHDAY SHE LOVES IT TOO MUCH.:-) more
