My daughter went in for a first appointment today and was unaware that Family Works therapists were not covered on our state health plan. The horrible receptionist was rude, and treated her terribly. She said ""you don't have insurance"" so loudly that you could hear a pin drop in the waiting room. She announced to my daughter that she could either pay $140.00 now, or she couldn't see the therapist. Again, so loudly that my daughter was so embarassed she left crying. My daughter is going through a terrible time, and didn't need to be treated this way. I lodged a complaint with the director, and spoke to someone named mary. She was very nice, and apologized. But I don't recommend this place at all. Even if Family Works was covered on my plan, I wouldn't send my daughter back there. They need to get rid of this horrible woman asap. She is dreadful. I don't think they even deserve one star. Steer clear of this one.
