I love these little stores. If you've never been to Montrose, it's a throw back to yesteryear. it's a small strip of stores that remind you of the good old days when everything was independently owned. They do have a few corporate businesses (bank of american, coffee bean and tea leaf and quiznos), but pretty much everything else is owned by individuals.
Walk This Way is very much like that and it feels good to shop at a store where the owner has a vested interest.
I bought shoes specifically because of my painful arches. The shoes I tried on were very comfortable and walking has become much less painful. They are a great pair of shoes and the sales person was very helpful. The shoe prices are a little on the high side, but that's to be expected; the store is not a mass retailer and the shoes are specialized. Overall my experience there was very good.
