I am a small offset printer with limited capabilities. I decided to broker printing with Zoo Printing over two years ago to be able to offer my customers full color options. I have found their prices are great and so is their quality.
I admit there have been times that I wish their turnaround was quicker but mostly the problem is that I want to make every customer happy today and that I live 3 days UPS Ground away. I just give my customers a proper ETA that fits in with Zoo's turnaround and the shipping time. 99.99% of the time my customer is so happy with the product when it comes that the length of time it took and the price didn't matter.
I find their customer service to be excellent! I get quick responses from the Ticket system on the website (allbeit a generic response at first) if you keep it going you get real help.
I have found Ceaser to be an ultimate ally when there is a problem. I have spoken to him by phone multiple times. When I was having trouble with a file in prepress, he sat with me on the phone while he tried to fix it for me on his end. When I have had color issues, he has always come through for me. When I don't get a response that satisfies me from the ticket system, I email him.
Frankly, I would have 80% less business without Zoo and I don't know what I'd do without them!!
I think that the attitude you have with people makes a big difference on the service that you get. We all have bad days and you never know the workload someone is dealing with when you call. Try a little kindness and a joke to help them smile. They will probably take a little more time with you because you made them feel good.
