A great experience from the beginning! their website is pretty interactive and had plenty of helpful hints that ended up saving me some bucks. the phone rep was friendly and knowledgeable. He really took time to understand my move and line everything up correctly. Since i called a month in advance i got the start time that i wanted and was actually surprised that the movers showed up on time....(had some bad experiences with other movers). the movers were professional and courteous knowing how to handle my stuff efficiently.
I had initially planned on moving the smaller items and boxes myself , letting the movers just take the heavier stuff but didn't get everything taken care of in the timeframe i had wanted. the guys helped me pack up my remaining items (even had extra packing materials on the truck) and since they work by the hour it just cost a little extra.
one thing i liked was that i didn't have to unpack my dressers. they move them with the stuff still in there.
like i said, the movers were professional, courteous and the total bill was less than i was originally quoted. i think they are getting a bad rap.....this was a seamless transition from beginning to end.
One word of advice.....try to plan ahead and be prepared for the move, check out their website for hints - it helped my move go smoother.
