I brought my practically comatose ferret here on a Sunday because I live nearby and it was late in the day. They told me that there is no exotic vet on call and they couldn't help me. As I'm holding my lifeless ferret in my hands, one of the doctors walks out and overhears my conversation with the front desk lady. As I'm about to explain the situation to the Dr., he says to me "I know absolutely nothing about ferrets" I said but its not rocket science, it's an animal, shes having an insulinoma attack, just do what u would with any other animal. He just shook his head and walked away. I couldn't believe how rude and uncompassionate these people were. I have brought my cats there in the past and have never been happy with their services. I also can't get past the rundown office. We're in great neck, not a third world country.
