OC Nannies lied in their ads in OC Family magazine for April 2011, when they listed themselves as members of two nanny organizations and they are not. As a new mom I wanted to choose an agency that I could trust to help me. When I saw their ad I thought they looked great. I was only unsure why they used two different names, OC Nannies and Newport Domestics. \r

The ad said they were members of both the APNA and INA so I went onto their websites but could not find them listed. I contacted both organizations and received emails back from them letting me know that neither name was listed. In the case of APNA I was told they never were a member. \r

I found a few good reviews for them, but now I question the reviews since it looks like they were all written within a few weeks of each other which seemed strange for an agency that has been opened for so long. I thought it was wrong to falsely advertise and lie about what you do, but some people just don’t care. I can’t tell you how upset I am that a company that deals with childcare could lie so blatantly. Luckily a friend helped me find a wonderful nanny that she knew. \r

OC Nannies or Newport Domestics are not trustworthy so beware. \r
