My husband and I went to this restaurant on Saturday night (5/7/11) around 6:30pm. Not very many people in the restaurant. No one met us at the door so we went to the bar and had a glass of wine first. The mats the glasses were sitting on behind the bar were full of dust and the glasses were sitting there with the lips of the glasses sitting on the mats! I went to the bathroom and it was horrible. The sink could use a good scrubbing around the faucet. The tiled wall under the soap container had lots of soap residue on it. The grout on the tile wall under the paper towels for drying were discolored (just a little stream and scrubbing can keep grout clean). The plant vase in the corner was full of dust. The floor wasn't very clean either and this was on a Saturday night! It is my opinion that if the bathroom is filthy then you can be guaranteed that the kitchen is the same. We did not eat there but went to another restraunt in the same area. If I were the owners, it would be my top priority to make sure some one comes in on a Thursday to make sure everything is clean and tidy for the weekend - it could make a big difference in having customers stay to eat.
