Grossly OVERPRICED-$$$$$$$$$$
KILLOWAT AC CHARGES KILLER PRICES
Called for an A/C Freon boost that I have done every 2/yrs with another company for about $100.-150.00 and decided to see if I could find a better deal.
Kilowatt told me its $165.00 for the service call and $60.00 a pound for the freon.
I verified with several other companies and some want $45.00 for the service call and others wanted $89.00. Another wanted $100.00 (I made a total of 6/inquiries.
As for the Freon most wanted $28.00 LB or $30.00 for the (old) Freon as my unit is 15 years old and does not take the new Freon which is cheaper.
So why does Kilowatt air want DOUBLE THE AVERAGE PRICE OF FREON ??
So why does Kilowatt stick you with an OUTRAGEOUS SERVICE PRICE???? $165.00
I certainly learned a lot by doing my homework.
