A couple of weeks ago, which was 24 hours before I was leaving for my destination wedding I decided to put on my wedding dress and practice my first dance. To my utter horror the bustle on my dress, that had been done professionally, was less than adequate for the weight of the dress. The ties were ripping out and I had not even worn the dress yet. The sides were dragging on the floor and there was no way I could dance on my wedding day in this dress. At 8am on Saturday morning I called Alterations Connection after finding them on a Google search and Dawn, the owner answered (before business hours). I explained I was leaving for Mexico for my destination wedding at 4am Sunday and that I needed the bustle redone that day. She told me to be there at 9am.
