My dog was obviously dying. He couldn't walk, was yelping, had breathing problems. I called Banfield to get him put down. They said they would do it. I took him in and low and behold....all they wanted to do was upsell me on unnecessary bloodwork, xrays, a dental cleaning, and toenail clipping. Why? Because the $160 for euthanizing wasn't enough? They wanted ANOTHER $220 on top of it all. Then they said they wouldn't put him down because he could live ANOTHER WEEK. I yelled at them. They told me to get out of the hospital or they would call the cops. I told them to go ahead and call them. Then I left with my dog and went to another pet hospital. They examined him. He had a stroke. And they agreed to put him down. He is no longer in pain....NO THANKS TO BANFIELD. They wanted to let him suffer! I will NEVER go to another BANFIELD again!!!!!!
