We were never very good at bringing our dog to the vet and have only gone to OAH a few times. Yes they were expensive but they were also very nice, and despite once recomending an expensive surgery they did also offer an alternative treatment, admitting that it would not be as good, but would be cheaper and still get our girl back on her feet. When our cheaper town vet diagnosed her with cancer and the time came to put her down OAH was outstanding. Again they were more expensive than other places but the kindness they showed m wife and the little touches like a paw print, flowers and coffin to burry our dog showed a level of compassion that impressed me greatly. I was even more impressed when we recieved a sympathy card from them the next week. Now when we are ready to get another dog I know that i will take them to OAH, because the cost difference is well worth the compassion, and care that they give.
