First of all, let's not kid yourselves. Be it a people or animal hospital if they save you they are great, if they don't they stink. Results matter. Unfortunately, animals can't talk.\r

One common theme is the expense. People expect OAH to the be the price of their local vet. Well, is your local vet open 24 hours a day, seven days a week? That costs money to staff. Does your vet have an MRI machine? All the conveniences of modern medicine cost money and like with people it inflates bills. You can't expect to walk into OAH and pay what you would at a vet who practices on his own and can't do much more than spaying and neutering; it's not realistic.\r

If you have a local vet you like great; stay with him, but if there is a problem, be glad a hospital like OAH is around when you need them.
