Please don't contribute to Steve's pets. They purchase from puppy mills. It's very sad that so many dogs and cats are euthanized every second. These are perfectly healthy, very sweet dogs and cats. These dog stores and puppy mills contribute to the inhumane gassing shelters. Please do not purchase from a pet store like ""steve's"" or from a breeder. There are too many animals that need homes and suffer everyday.\r
It's sad that they continue to tell people they don't purchase from puppy mills when they do. Of course the puppies will be taken care of. The mothers are the ones that suffer every day and night in these puppy mills. I know first hand. I rescued a dog from a puppy mill, she was kept in a wire cage her entire life, never leaving this cage. She never had a name, just a number. She had difficulty walking at first because of never leaving that wire cage. It's incredibly sad was these puppy mill mothers go through. Please dont buy from a pet store (steve's). Remember it's the mothers that suffer with poor health, nutrition, and living conditions. It doesn't matter if the puppies look good or what kind of service they give. You have to remember where they are coming from.
