The groomer did NOT cut any hair off.
The day came that we wanted her to get the spa done. We called Wuf Spa and set up an appointment for 9:00 am. We made it there at nine (coming 45 min. away, but it was okay because I thought my Layla was going to have a spa done) the lady at the front was amazing with me and her. She asked me how I wanted Layla's coat cut, I let her know and she was very understanding. She told me the groomer will be there shortly and get started. I left and decided to go to Starbucks to do work. Four hours pass and I was wondering how my Layla was doing, so I called. I asked ""How is Layla? Is everything OK with her?"" She transferred me to the groomer. I asked again ""How is Layla? Is everything OK with her?"" The groomer replied ""Why do you want her coat cut?"" I let her know why and she told me that she wouldn't do it because my type of dog's hair should stay how it was. I took this as saying something like my dog’s breed should have a certain length of hair; and what I wanted did not matter to the groomer. I repeated why again and she said the same thing.
The groomer added ""I gave her a bath and got a lot of hair off her coat."" I then decided I'm just going to pick up my daughter. Once I made it there the lady at the front was helpful again and said she will get my Layla. When she left I decided to look around. What I noticed was in the small and large dog “play area” the dogs were standing there and so were the guards (workers). They were not playing and I observed this for about 10 minutes. I feel as if the workers should be playing other customers kids as that is why they pay for the service. After time has passed I heard a blower going and asked the worker at the front desk “What’s taking so long?” he went through the back way of the room and I heard him ask over the blower “He wants to know what is taking so long?” The blower stopped then he came out a couple second later with my daughter, soaked. She was extremely happy to see me. I was very upset and walked out.
I was outside with her letting her run around and decided to smell her. It did not smell of any soap. From my perspective, the way that it seemed was that: She was there for four hours in a random place locked in a kennel. Nothing was done to her. When I called I was only five minutes way, so when I made it there they did not have enough time to complete what they told me they already done. To me it feels like someone was locked in a cage for four hours and when I told the people watching her I am on my way, they grabbed her out the cage quickly and sprayed her with water.
