When Dr. Bach entered the room to assess our situation, he did not offer any comfort whatsoever. He explained how it was going to be a long difficult healing process for our dog based on where the injury was, and he became argumentative about various aspects of the proposed treatment. Like most dog owners, we absolutely adore our dogs (they are like children to us) and I was already feeling horrible about the situation. The last thing I needed was to receive this kind of negative reaction from a trusted "professional caregiver". Although I decided to take our dog somewhere else, I was still required to pay the minimum $48 charge for the 3 minute "assessment" he performed, which included only a glance at her leg and acknowledgement that she had a cut.
