To say the least I have had nightmarish experiences since I was a child with dentists. Never being completely numb or during the numbing process hit a nerve that left the left side of my nose and left eye numb and droopy eye for several weeks. When a 1 tooth cantalever bridge broke off from a crown I had for 26 yrs., Dr. Scott Ballard tried to save the abutted crown, in order to abutt it to 2 teeth, but found the crowned tooth was cracked down through the root. He suggested a dental implant, which had been suggested by my periodontist, as well. I was most reluctant and absolutely did not want this procedure. After Dr Scott explained the procedure and how tiny the actual implant was and that I would be under sedation, I skepticly elected to have this procedure. The very next day I contacted my periodontist (Dr. Ballard had contacted my perio to explain what had happened) & my perio had to do a bone graft and insert 2 implants. I am now in the process of healing to accept the 2 n more
