I left this school a little over a year ago and have nothing good to say about the administration. The court reporting teachers were excellent. Most of them had court reporting experience and were able to relate to the students since they had gone through the same training. \r
It is NOT an easy program but I hear it is worth it. I have not yet found a job. \r
The administration at this school is terrible. No one even knew my name and, at the time, it was not a very large campus.\r
One of my friends that graduated was told by the school to apply for a company with poor work ethics, such as bribing clients with gift cards. That isn't someone I would personally want to work for and the placement office at the school should be aware of these types of firms and their practices. \r
Also, they stalked her endlessly about her job search. Never did anything to help other than the unethical firm, but just wanted to get their placement numbers up when she found her own job. \r
I would suggest TriC if it's close, or even an online program if you have the discipline. My friend didn't even go to her graduation ceremony, that's how displeased she was with her experience at the Academy.
