Awesome bike. It rides great going up the steep hills around my house. I still use pedal assist for exercise. Going down hill is even better. You don't need the battery going down hill but if you use it, you go even faster. The only drawback to the bike is the fact that my daughter can't have one as she is too young and too small. This limits where we can go together as there are many hills in my neighborhood. It will be a couple of years before I can buy her one. In the meantime, I mostly go on short rides with her and longer rides when I am alone.
By the way, the service with Pedego is great. I had a problem with the first battery and Don Constanzo replaced it. The second battery works fine. I haven't gone more than 10 miles at a time and I always recharge so I can't verify how long the battery lasts yet.
