Seven years ago I bought a bike for my Wife to ride about twice a year, and they answered my questions and sold me a cheap bike $150 that still rides well.
Last year I walked in with a BUNCH of conflicting parameters for what my bike MUST BE. They looked a little confused by my logic, and informed me until what I said made sense. I rode home on a great Kona with a custom basket for about $400. I use this as my daily commuter and bring it in every six months to make it ride like new. I bring misinformation every time and learn something new with each visit that my terribly abused bicycle makes to jerks down on Milwaukie Ave.
