The Goddard School chain in general is supposed to be one of the best early childhood schools in the country, and definitely not cheap. They are all independently-owned, however. The franchise in Cary, IL is owned by someone that should not be in charge of children. \r

I worked there for almost two years. During that time, I was bringing food from my house to feed the children in my classroom, who were not being fed enough food at the school. \r

The owner also instilled a policy where toddlers were to stay in the infant room (which was $300 more per month than the actual toddler room) until they were 15 months old instead of moving up to the toddler room when they turned 1 year old. The owner did this because she could get more money out of the parents that way. This is serious because it was the child's development that really suffered, as they were older, still in the infant room, and under-stimulated. \r
