We have lived in Robin Run Village since May of 2008. We moved from a home where we were very happy. We also knew that the day might come when we would be unable to drive. We had to drive for all of our activities, food, shopping and everything.\r
\r
We had looked at various retirement centers and chose Robin Run because it was close to our home and friends, plus it is the only center where you could own your own home.\r
\r
We visited often enough to know the type of people living there, were the kind of people we would enjoy living around.\r
\r
After attending a musical program we looked at a home we thought would be comfortable for us.\r
\r
Upon moving in we have become very active in the life of Robin Run. We are active in the conversations group, Book club, Crafty Ladies group, Village Chat, Resident Council meetings, woodworking shop, monthly eating out as a group, and above all the neighborly friendships.\r
\r
Our social life is the most enjoyable part of living here. Oprah Winfrey show recently was asking, how much money was needed for a family to be happy? Research shows, being active in a social group meeting monthly is like doubling your salary. Since living here we have found this to be true.\r

Just last week, ten minutes to five pm the garbage disposal would not discharge the water in the sink.\r
\r
We called the maintenance department and five minutes later the door bell rang, the maintenance man came, even though it was quitting time. He unstopped the drain and we were able to finish preparing supper. This is an example of the personnel in Robin Run.\r
