You should keep in mind that it's a school, and the reason the prices are extremely discounted is because there's the chance that things won't pan out perfectly. If you want perfection, go to a salon.
All that to say, I've been to the Paul Mitchell School probably 5 or 6 times. I've had a couple of awesome haircuts; I've had a couple of so-so haircuts.
I have thick hair and I've tried a couple of times to get a color and a cut there, but there's just never enough time for both. There's a way to fix this: Schedule two appointments a a week apart. It's less stressful for you and for them.
Anyway, $10 is a great price, if nothing else than for the products they use.
