You should keep in mind that it's a school, and the reason the prices are extremely discounted is because there's the chance that things won't pan out perfectly. If you want perfection, go to a salon. All that to say, I've been to the Paul Mitchell School probably 5 or 6 times. I've had a couple of awesome haircuts; I've had a couple of so-so haircuts. I have thick hair and I've tried a couple of times to get a color and a cut there, but there's just never enough time for both. There's a way to fix this: Schedule two appointments a a week apart. It's less stressful for you and for them. Anyway, $10 is a great price, if nothing else than for the products they use. more

I had a wonderful experieince with a facial. Relaxing, my skin looked good, I was addicted to facitals after that.\r \r However, I went to get my haircut and colored. The ""future professional"" went through the mandatory questions to find out what I wanted in a hair cut/color. I Mind you, she has not even cracked a smile yet. Then she asked about my hair color. She basically insulted me when she explained that I had a color ""from a box"". When she washed my hair, she pulled my hair, she snapped at me when my neck was tight. My neck sometimes hurts from the sink basins, so I get uptight about it. It took over two hours for basic hair color. I had to be out in an hour. I started crying because I wanted a hair cut and she told me I could not have a hair cut. I eventually went to the leader and then the manager. DO NOT GO HERE FOR A HAIRCUT!! more
