The decor at this 15 + year old restaurant has been recently updated. The result is a modern yet casual and cozy neighborhood favorite. The service is warm, friendly and attentive. My bf and I noticed how happy the waitstaff looks, which reflects in the service and overall ambience of the restaurant. The menu has all the usual favorites and is very well priced. We ordered Mango Mojitos which were flavorful and heady. Our food was fresh, well presented, and o so flavorful. We had a veggie platter to start and then had the most moist and succulent Tandoori chicken which is served with a side of basmati rice and lentil soup. I recommend the lamb vindaloo for those who like it HOT...it was perfect. For dessert we had the Gulab Jamun, a great antidote to the spicy meal. I highly recommend a visit to this little jewel of Hoboken.
