WOW, Kevin McVay has a Long Lost Excellent Work Ethic! He provided the best customer service I've ever had when hiring a contractor! I needed some work done at the house and wanted to be careful about who I hired to walk into my home.\r
\r
Kevin showed up on time and ready to hit the ground running. I needed some gutters repaired, and he pointed out all of the mistakes the roofing contractor left me with and ended up fixing shingles and siding as well while he was up there. Probably saved me a nightmare and a bundle of cash with what could have easily turned into a leak in the roofing - thank God this guy had some insight!\r
\r
Once we started talking he let me know he was locally owned for something like 25 years (which was hard to believe when you look at him). Not 2 months later, my garbage disposal wouldn't work. I figured it was the switch. I called Kevin back and yet again, he identified that it wasn't just the switch, but that the disposal had a crack in it (again...leaking into the dark cabinet...I hadn't even noticed !). He replaced both and probably saved me from a molding situation under the cabinet (and yes, he checked for any water damage under the cabinet too!).\r
\r
He started telling me about all the remodels and counter top work he does regularly and I felt glad that he took the time to do my ""smaller"" jobs as well.\r
\r
I'm glad I called him and I WILL be spending my tax return money digging into a kitchen countertop remodel that he gave me an EXTREMELY reasonable estimate on!\r
\r
Great prices, nice guy, and he actually swept up after himself both times he did work on my house - as I said, a LONG LOST work ethic...one of the 'good guys' still around, I'd recommend him to anyone!
