We got Kevin's name from our granite installer. We were tearing out our old grainte and installing new granite in the kitchen. We had high hopes after first meeting Kevin, and those hopes quickly faded as he failed to show up on time, and when at our house he only worked a few hours (if that). Quality was good, but when he forgot to turn the water valve back on for our dishwasher that he reinstalled and we ran it without realizing his mistake, the dishwasher (which was 2 years old) was destroyed. We were lucky to have our home warranty cover the repair, which was, in the words of the repairman, "a complete rebuild, practically a brand new dishwasher." We asked Kevin repeatedly via text messages to pay for the $75 deductible that we incurred due to his carelessness, and while he stated in a text that he would pay it, he never sent us the check. So, for the $5,000 that we paid him for our kitchen work he blows off paying us $75 for his own error. We find that unethical and incredibly unprofessional. So, unless you want to babysit Kevin, look over all of his work, and ride him repeatedly about showing up on time, you may want to look elsewhere. Kevin talks a big talk about being honest and always giving a service provider the chance to make things right, except he doesn't seem to be able to make the connection between those great customer service concepts and his own work. We would never use him again.
