I called on a Thursday to reserve a pickup on that Saturday night from St. Helena to Yountville. I made a point to confirm the time and place because the man on the phone sounded like he wasn't paying attention. Sure enough, that Saturday no car shows up. I call Black Tie, and the same man answers. At first he denies having a reservation for that time, and then he sees it. He says he can send someone out in fifteen to twenty minutes and hangs up without an apology. We had a dinner reservation and if we hadn't lucked into a driver from Valley Valet, we wouldn't have made it. When I called back to cancel the Black Tie car, whoever picks up the phone had no idea what I was talking about anyway. TERRIBLE!
