It's not easy for me to get out. I was fortunate to go to the Institute of Beauty Culture where competent students, encouraged by caring instructors, gave me a pixie hair style that I can manage. Yes, I went from rollers and hair dryers to the pixie cut. I wondered if the short hair might make me look like a boy, but Omar assured me that I would never look like a boy. The truth is that I get many compliments on my hair style, and it's much easier to manage.
I like the atmosphere of the Institute of Beauty Culture. It's clean and hospitable; it's bright and cheerful. The restrooms are ship shape and wheelchair accessible.
And the people are kind, respectful. Students and teachers have good manners. Their parents brought them up well!
