COMPLETELY appalled 2/24/2011

My boyfriend got me a promotion package for christmas, for the Lake Zurich Ritual Salon. I was really excited so we set up all 4 appointments at once to be sure I was able to get in before the promotion package ended. ( in may) My skin care lady was amazing (jennifer) I also enjoyed my mini manicure as well as my hair cut from dana. Then...came my massage appointment...I called the day of to confirm my massage time(jan 14th) and they said that the lady is no longer there on fridays(which was the day of my apponitment)..only on Saturdays. So we reschudualed my apponitment for the week after only to get a call saying they screwed up. The lady wasnt going to be there that day. (Which amazes me because I was told there was only one Message therapist) So we rescheduled, and yet again I got another call saying I had to re schedule. At this point, I was very aggravated because I work on Saturdays and I could not keep taking off. I called and asked to talk to the owner and they told me that they would leave her a message because she wasn't in. So I told them I DIDNT want to make an appointment until I talked to the owner, Nicole. So after a week of never receiving a call I called yet again, to be told that I had to wait until she would call me. So after a month in a half of waiting I demanded to speak to SOMEONE because I had not been helped. FIANLLY after calling three times in one day I was able to speak to the owner. I began to tell my story of what had happened, and I was IMMEDIATELY cut off. She started off by telling me I was wrong. And assisted on telling me her side of the story first. Remaining calm, I listened to everything she had to say, which included scenarios of me harassing her ""employees"" and ""scaring"" them. After she had finished I explained to her that, that was COMPLETELY untrue, and that every conversation I had with the receptionist was that I was trying to find out weather or not they had talked to her or not. SO after a frustrating conversation of being hanged up on, and faultily accused, she came to the conclusion that we were ""not a good match"", and that I should be lucky that I got the service that I got for the price paid, and that she had the right to refuse me. All in all, I am COMPLETELY appalled by the way I was treated. Unsatisfied by the customer service. And shocked that a business can get away with swearing and treating customers the way I had been treated. If you care about being tossed around, and talked down too, I would not recommend this salon. more
