I have been going to see Dr. Hebert when he worked at the Warwick Animal Hospital and when I found out he also worked at the West Shore Animal Clinic followed him there. When it comes to my dogs, no concern is to small or big. He has seen me through some difficult times with always my "babies" best interest at heart. Dr. Consiglio is also a peach always willing to look after my babies even if they are not technically her patients. As far as the vet staff, I cannot say enough about them. I can go in just to fill a script or buy some dog food, and their first question is always, is everything ok Mrs. Lalli? If I could change anything, it would be for them to call me Bobbie. Their care of my babies is exceptional and I would not have anyone else treat my babies. Some of my babies can be difficult but they treat them with the same affection and dedication that my better behaved dogs receive. I know from past experiance that difficult dogs do not always receive this kind of care which was how I found Dr. Hebert when one of my difficult dogs (Dusty) was not given the medical attention he deserved. In Dusty's defence, he had been abused prior to coming to me, had a bad ear infection, was in severe pain and did not want to be handled. I met Dr. Hebert during Dusty's last year of life and he could not have been kinder to Dusty or me when he had to give me the devasting news that Dusty was dying from lung cancer. He was compassionate, honest, and did not suggest expensive treatments that would prolong his life but he would have no quality of life. In short, I love my West Shore Animal Clinic Family and on most days more than I love my so called "real" family!
