In the last couple of weeks I received services from the Scottsdale location. I thought Dolce was an upscale salon and at the Borgata I expected more. I received a facial that was good but I had to wait as she was late starting my appointment. I was in for a haircut with Lynn and a manicure with Summer. Once again I had to wait and the appointment started late. Lynn didn't come and get me, her assistant did. As I sat in the chair waiting even longer for Lynn to arrive she just looked at my hair as her assistant stood behind her as if she was advised not to speak unless spoken too. Then the shampooing which was just ok and then back to the chair to wait for Lynn again and as I sat there she was chatting with another client who was also waiting. The cut was good but the experience was lacking. For $65 a haircut I expected the spa experience, not the fantastic sams experience. Then to the manicure, where I also had to wait for Summer to come out and get me. I had much better manicure's at Walmart for half the price. There is no wonder that on a Saturday the salon was not full. The girls at the front desk should really be more professional. They ignored clients waiting to check out and some even over getting drinks and chatting. They are not very helpful or friendly.
Overall my haircut was good but not worth the cost and with the three different services I received I felt cheated in the spa experience. I was just another person there to help pay their salary. I am sorry to say I will not be coming back and all my friends will know about my experience too.
