I never write bad reviews, but in this case... 12/27/2011

The only reason I rate it one star is there is no zero star rating. My 18 year old daughter traveling alone for the first time from SC to WI on greyhound was told at a previous station she was not going to Knoxville when the ticket clearly said she was. They bumped her off the bus, in turn missing her connecting bus in Knoxville. Realizing this mistake afterward, the staff are of no consolation and snap at her like she is a convict. In Knoxville she was told there are no more buses she can take and after waiting almost 5 hours at the previous station, now has to wait until tomorrow morning to catch a different bus for the rest of her trip. We are currently experiencing what can only be explained as a parents nightmare since. I called her a cab to take her to a nearby hotel to shower and have a good cry. She has invested over 18 hours into getting back to WI and is only 3.5 hours away from the starting point according to yahoo. There is no help from the staff, her suitcase was taken off the bus by the driver at some point and set into a curb side puddle so all her clean clothes inside are disgusting and wet, her bag of food was left on the bus and she was not allowed to go back to get it, and she will have been on the road for about 40 hours before arriving to her destination at this point if nothing else goes wrong. more
