I visited this dealership b/c it is considered a preferred dealer by my bank. I met with a salesman and identified a car online that I was interested in. We reviewed the make, model, and price of the car and I was very clear about what I had hoped to spend on the car. The salesman offered to pick up the car that I wanted from their sister dealership. I waited around for @ an hour for the car to arrive to test drive it. The car was what I wanted so I went in to close the deal or so I thought. When we sat to handle the paperwork, there were two prices written on the sales sheet and neither was the price that we had previously discussed. The first price was two thousand dollars above the internet price and the second was one thousand above the internet price. After mentioning this to the salesman, he commented that I was wrong to which i responded by asking that we view the internet invoice again and we did. Well wouldn't you know it, I was right. The salesmans went to speak with the finance manager and came back to tell me that the price on the internet was wrong so I wouldn't be able to purchase the car for that price. Now, I had a copy of the invoice that he gave me in addition to his word. I explained that I was not wavering in my decision to stay at a certain price point. The salesman actually told me that he went all the way to another dealership to pick up the car as if it was my fault that the ""mistake"" happened. The finance manager came to meet with me after I stated that I was leaving. He asked me to go over the experience and let me know what could be done to have my business. I responded by saying, offer me the car as previously discussed to which he responded, it's not going to happen at the price you want. He then went on to say that he could offer me a lower model car with an upgrade package at the same price. I was dumbfounded. Really??? Needless to say, I walked out. I received a survey call on Sunday and a call from the internet manager today. Again, I went over the experience with him and he then went to talk with the owner Mr. Peoples. He came back and offerd me the car at @ @665 over the price that the finance manager offered before I left on Saturday. I gave him the finance managers name and he promised to talk to him and call me back. Well he did call me back only to say that the finance manager did not recall quoting me that price. At that point, I was serioulsy like, this is not happening. Bottom line, I suggest you visit a different Hyundai dealer. In my opinion, this entire experince is rated as an F experience. I am not sure if they thought I was clueless or just plain dumb but I didn't appreciate how I was treated. Oh, I forgot the best part. I already have a fully funded check to purchase a vehicle. it's approved for twice the cost of the vehicle. The salesman said that I would need to pay $500 down to cover TT&L even though my financing was double the cost of the car. WTH?? I followed up with my bank today and they said that I should not have been asked to pay anything. I agree with an earlier comment. Go to Sterling McCall. I visited them today and they were super nice. They didn't have the car that I wanted however they are trying to find one for me. Good Luck in your search for a new car. -Opera
