Due to the way that this doctor's office bills insurance, I would not recommend this to any Beaumont Employees. While routine exams should be covered by Beaumont insurance at no cost to the employee, the way this doctor's office bills the exams (particularly the ""Know Your Numbers"" program), they will not be covered as they should be if anything out of the ordinary is detected (example: elevated cholesterol).\r

In talking with the office manager of this location, I was told that insurance billing comes down to a ""crap shoot"", as they don't know how a patient's insurance is going to react to the way the doctor's office billed it.\r

In discussions with Beaumont Insurance, 3 separate individuals said that Preferred Family Medicine was billing these exams incorrectly.\r

If you are a Beaumont Employee (or if you get reduced/free routine exams through your insurance), I would pick a different doctor's office.
