We took our almost 1 yr old kitten in to be spayed. When I picked her up the next day when we could take her out of the carrier we noticed it was not our cat. I called up to the clinic and was told that it was not possible and that I must be mistaken. I then took the cat back to the clinic after printing out a picture of our kitten to prove it was not our cat. They never came right out and said it was switched, but they knew they were in the wrong. They said they called all the other people that had female cats the same color as ours and they all said they had their cats. We did not keep the cat because it was attacking and we could not have that with our children. 2 1/2 weeks later I receive a call from someone in Carlinville saying they have our kitten. Apparently they were trying for some time to get it back to us and the spay clinic would not give them our info.
I will never take another animal to them. The receptionist was rude and the only thing they offered after the incident was a refund and the offer to spay or neuter our next animal.
If you do choose to take your animal there check to make sure they give you the correct one back.
