I have been going to Timonium Animal Hospital for 6 year. My 11 year old boxer was recently diagnosed with cancer. Dr. Gernhert in a very caring way presented my options to me. We chose to put my boxer down because we did not want her to suffer. The entire vet clinic was very supportive and empathetic during this extremely sad time. They allowed the process to occur on my time. At no time was I rushed in my decision, I actually waited 10 days. Once I did make the decision, I was able to stay with my pup during the process so she was not left alone. After, I was able to stay with my pup for as long as I needed say good-bye. A week later, they even sent a sympathy card to my house with my pups paw print on it. It was the nicest thing they could have done. I could really tell through the actions and words of everyone in the clinic, they understood how I felt and wanted to make this decision as easy as possible for me.
