I came here to eat in 1983. I had come here via the military, and I missed german food. I found more then that. \r
The owners were friendly, the atmosphere was right, even the smells were right. These reviews I have read about costco desserts, and luke warm strudel are silly. The desserts are kept frozen untill needed..'hot' means it was likely microwaved. some desserts may even be bought at a wholesalers. \r
Act like adults, ask for your strudel to be heated. Dont order a dessert you dont want. \r
If you are German, or have ever lived in Germany, you know every 'wurst' tatstes different depending on where you live, My family is prussian, from the far north, and the wurst here is one of the many versions one might find. \r
For those of us who live here, this restaurant makes me forget for a moment I am not in very warm Texas. I can suffer a slice of costco carrot cake.
