The service at Metro Camera is dreadful. My D300 was sent to Nikon for autofocus calibration. It came back after 7 weeks (only after several emails) when the repair was estimated at 3 weeks. Full payment($411) was required up front. The repair was for auto focus adjustment, but it came back with other claimed repairs that were not requested and I did not have the opportunity to approve. Metro refused to provide a contact at Nikon or a Nikon invoice listing the work undertaken. This is the second such incident I have had with Metro. The first was a VR repair to a 70/200 mm zoom lens. I'm a semi professional photographer. I'm contacting Nikon and the Better Business Bureau on this issue. If metro is going to send your camera to the manufacturer, send it yourself more
