Upon arriving with my sick toddler I was greeted with indifference bordering on rudeness.
My daughter's insurance had just became active on the 25th, two days prior, so I did not have her card yet, but I had all the information. When that was refused I offered to forgo insurance completely and pay cash. This was also refused. They said since she had insurance they couldn't allow me to pay cash for the office visit. Who doesn't accept cash as a form of payment?
We were the only people in the waiting room and it was approximately 45min before the cutoff time to be seen. I got the impression we were bothering both the medical assistant and the desk staff by even being there.
The people in this office should be ashamed of themselves for refusing medical care to a small child!
