Urgent Care-Salmon Creek: Richard Ala Simmons, DO

My family and myself have been going to this urgent Care for over 5 years and have never had a bad experience. Every time we have been there the wait times have been very short and the doctor has always been great and helpful. For non emergencies my routine doctors office has a full appointment schedule and i can wait days to get in, so I choose to go here. Plus when we were not established or were without insurance this Urgent Care was great. Wonderful asset to the community. Thanks for being here.. more

This is the BEST urgent care clinic I've ever been to. Nice helpful staff, quick service and great doctors. I don't live close but I won't go anywhere else. I've never had a bad experience there and am surprised by the other comments on here. more

please, please do not go here!!! Wife was in a T-bone accident with a hurt back. I called, they said ""get here by 4:30"", I was there at 4:10 (even though they close at 5:00). After filling out paperwork for 20 min the crazy people said ""well, we can't see you, the doctor needs to leave now"" and sent us home, with three kids in tow wondering what to do. They did it with indifference and non-caring....they violated their hippocratic oath by CERTAINLY doing harm!. Not OK - Urgent care: your acts will be reflected in this life or the next. more

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! I arrived at the clinic at 4:15 on a Sunday after a car accident and back injury. I was rudely told that I needed a claim number from my insurance since it was an accident. I immediately called my insurance and had a claim number within 10 minutes. The medical assistant came out and asked if I was talking to my insurance and then went to the back room. She came out at 4:35 and told me that the doctor wouldn't be seeing any more patients. We were the only people in the waiting room and we had been there for 20 minutes. When I got upset, the nurse walked in the back room and the receptionist just looked at me blankly. I felt like I was inconveniencing both the nurse and the receptionist by just being there. more

Upon arriving with my sick toddler I was greeted with indifference bordering on rudeness. My daughter's insurance had just became active on the 25th, two days prior, so I did not have her card yet, but I had all the information. When that was refused I offered to forgo insurance completely and pay cash. This was also refused.They said since she had insurance they couldn't allow me to pay cash for the office visit. Who doesn't accept cash as a form of payment? We were the only people in the waiting room and it was approximately 45min before the cutoff time to be seen. I got the impression we were bothering both the medical assistant and the desk staff by even being there. The people in this office should be ashamed of themselves for refusing medical care to a small child! more

I've been going to Urgent Care- Salmon Creek since I was a child, and even now though I don't currently have insurance I still go there if I have an emergency. The doctors there are kind and courteous, the nursing staff is wonderful, and 90% of the time I can get in and out within 30 min. I would recommend them to anyone, especially to my friends with children since one of the senior doctors there was my younger sisters pediatrician. Pros: wonderful people, quick and easy Cons: expensive if you don't have insurance more
