After receiving a recommendation from a friend, I purchased a set of knives as a Christmas gift through their website. Unfortunately when I opened the box, there was one knife missing. I contacted them and they promptly responded that they would ship the missing knife out to me. When I opened the box, I was surprised to see they had sent me a free Wusthof kitchen timer with the missing knife. That is what I call excellent customer service. Just a ""Hey, I'm sorry. Here's your missing knife"" would have sufficed, but I was delighted that they were thoughtful enough to send me a free timer as an apology. I plan to do business with them again when my own kitchen knives need replacing!
