I had new insurance so I had to find a new dental office. My insurance covers preventive dental care %100. I should get exrays, exam and cleaning with a fluoride treatment. I chose this one only for convenience. I showed up and was asked to see my insurance card. Then immediately brought back by Becky the hygienist. she started the exrays then the exam. I was told I needed a deep cleaning procedure and that my insurance would not cover it. I was then brought to a desk to go over my payment options. I felt like I was at a used car dealership. I was told there are different amounts for different payment options. If I pay cash it's one price, if I make payments it's another. I chose cash. I made 2 appts, 1 week out for 2 fillings and 1/2 the procedure, all on my left side. The second was 2 weeks out. 2 fillings and the other 1/2 of the procedure to my right side. When I got home I read through my insurance book and found that the procedure was actually covered. I called my insurance company and they confirmed this. They even gave my the codes that the dental office should bill them with. I called the dental office and the still insisted that the procedure was not covered. I told them to cancel the procedure, that I would keep my appointments for the fillings only. When i came back a week later I found out they put my insurance in wrong but the procedure still was not covered. I had chose nitrous and on the payment brochure it said $37 under the cash column. I had to pay $61. I was told that column was for ""something else"". When I came back the next week for my fillings on my right side, they had me down for the ""procedure"". The 2nd appt was never changed when I cancelled the procedure part. But the Dentist wouldn't even see me for my fillings. They said I could come back in 2 days and get it done then. I explained that I just started a new job and I was doing my training around MY dental schedule and it would not work. I DIDN'T EVEN GET AN APOLOGY!!! I think it was a bait and switch and they must be commissioned on what they ""sell"" outside the assumed insurance limits. I give them 0 stars. The women were rude they made me feel like it was my fault that they screwed up more than once with my appointments. Not good for a new patient.
