i would not recommend wasting your time with this group. I was charged for almost $500 for something they should have done in two hours (it took them four). they wasted two hours trying to put together my bedroom furniture only to find out they were using the WRONG screws. then they have to waste the time to take them back out to put the other bed together. But worst guess what they did next....they left. they did not even put the other bed together but had the nerve to charge me for the full time. Well after talking to the manager he agree verbrally to refund $160 of my money but guess what.....when I got the check it was only $115. So my conclusion... beware, THEY WILL MOVE SLOW, OVER CHARGE AND HAVE BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. No worth your time. There are too many movers out there to waste your time with a company that is so unprofessional.
RESPONSE FROM New Latitude Movers:
We spoke to Mrs. Johnson the Monday after her Saturday move. She was told over the phone before her move that this would take longer than two hours. We told her we did not have time that day to do the move since we were fully booked. After being convinced of the 2 hours we agreed to do it. Our guys were there for 5 hours when it probably could have taken them only 4 if they had used the correct screws. There were two sets of beds and the screws got mixed up. Our operations manager agreed and sent a refund to her for $115 immediately. She later called back and spoke to me, our General Manager, who was not aware of the situation. She retold me the story. I agreed to the $160 (1.5 hours of labor) not knowing that we had already sent her a check for $115. A check for $45 was later sent to her. We take responsibility and am sorry for the frustration caused from the check, but to say that our guys are slow when we told her how long it would take on the front end is frustrating for us. We appreciate honest reviews.
