Lawrence Pet Hospital is sloppy and is only interested in getting animals in and out. They are not concerned with the well being of your pets!
Be ready to WAIT whenever you schedule an appointment with Lawrence Pet Hospital. This office overbooks their appointments. You will wait to be seen by a vet and then wait again to pay.
I had two very bad experiences with this office (besides the unreasonably long wait to be seen every time ). A vet tech put a bandage on my cat's leg way too tightly, and never mentioned that she did this. My cat is fluffy and extremely shy, so when I got her home, she immediately hid. I didn't notice the bandage until ten hours later. The leg was terribly swollen. Fortunately, there didn't seem to be any permanent damage.
The vet tech did call the next morning, replying to the message I left and apologized, but she didn't bother to put this info in my cat's chart or inform the vet.
The clincher as to why I will never use this vet again was that a thyroid test was taken and I was supposed to be notified about the results in several days. It has been close to two weeks since I was informed the vet would call me with the results and I still haven't received a call. I even called earlier today and was told they sent the results to the veterinary office I have since switched to. Funny, I checked with that office and they didn't receive complete files on my cats.
