I have a gas leak and called 3 plumbing companies to come out today and give me a bid. Dean came out from your company while another plumber was here, and didn't even bother to look at the leak under the house after I told him the other plumber found it. He asked me, "so it will take about an hour or two to fix?" I am not a plumber, so I told him I didn't know, that was his job to tell me. He left and came back about 15 minutes later with a $1000 bid for 4 hours of work. I wouldn't even consider your company, do to the complete lack of service provided, even if you matched the first bid I got, which was WAY LOWER. Guess I know why he could afford the Rolex watch he was wearing.
RESPONSE FROM Preferred Plumbing & Drain:
Hi Kathie,
I apologize for your bad experience. We attempted to call you when we found out the bid was given without office approval. Not sure if you had the work done, but we would be willing to send a field supervisor and offer 50 off what ever bid you got due to the bad service Dean gave you. Dean recently came to us from another pluming company as a an experienced plumber. he has only been with us two weeks, his references checked out but this type of service is unexceptable. He will be written up and if happens again not be with us any more. Thank you for your feed back as this really helps us work on our quality and our technitions if they are not making our customers happy. If you did have the work done please keep this email for one hour of free service if you ever need a plumber again.
Sincerely,
Bryan Graves
